OUR STORY

The story of the Magneticare product line is solidly linked with the story of one remarkable man whose curiosity, vision and dedication brought these life-enhancing products into being. Robert Kirschbaum, the founder of MagnetiCare, began his academic career in 1966 at Colorado State University where he studied Animal Sciences. There he learned that the definition of death in all mammals is the absence of electrical impulses in the brain and heart. In the ensuing four years of undergraduate study, only one and one-ha1f hours were devoted to studying electrical impulses in the body. Bob asked a simple question: "If the lack of electrical impulses is the definition of death, shouldn't we spend more time studying the electrical system of the body?" He was never satisfied with the answers he received.
Continuing with graduate studies at CSU, Bob decided to forego variations of well-known themes in animal sciences to pursue the question he had posed as an undergraduate to which he had never gotten a satisfactory answer. He met with a great deal of resistance from the faculty, who told him he was wasting his time. "The key to how the body works is chemical reactions," he was told time and again. "The electrical system is insignificant."
Bob's research told him otherwise. He learned that the power of the earth's magnetic field has been diminishing steadily over the years. 10,000 years ago the magnetic fie1d measured 5.0 on the Gauss scale. Today it reads 0.5! Since all living things draw energy from this magnetic field, we aren't getting the amount of electrica1 energy we were meant to receive. This fact is the foundation for Bob's research regarding the significance of the body's electrical systems. Each organ has its own system, and all of these individual systems are interconnected. DNA controls the information that flows through this network. DNA is a conductor of electricity, which has been proven by scientific studies.
Frustrated and unfulfilled, Bob left CSU to work on a production pig farm in northern Colorado. He continued with independent research during this period of time, pursuing methods of boosting the electrical systems of the body. After electronic implants were rejected for impracticality, Bob moved on to the study of magnets and magnetic fie1ds. After absorbing all available knowledge regarding the effects of magnetic fields on living organisms, he realized two things: wearing external magnets would be cumbersome and impractical, and only 70% of research subjects showed reactions to magnetic fields. These realizations led directly to the development of the Magnetic Liquid Complex. If external magnets were impractical, internal magnets would be necessary to supply the body with a boost in electrical energy.
Further research led Bob to the realization that some mamma1s don't have enough magnetic meta1s present in their bodies for the magnets to react to. He chose to combine two elements, iron and niobium, to form the foundation for his Magnetic Liquid Complex since scientific literature revealed that ferrous niobate is 20 times more magnetic than iron alone. To create the liquid, both metals were ground into a fine powder and blended with a few essential oils before being electrically charged. During the charging process, the essential oils were reduced to plant sugars, giving the mixture the desired water solubility.
At about the time this mixture was first brewed, the pig farm had an outbreak of a deadly bacterium, which infected pregnant sows. The piglets of the infected sows were born under weight and with bloody diarrhea. These piglets could not and did not survive. While the farm managers tried several antibiotics to defeat the bacteria, Bob isolated several infected sows and introduced the magnetic liquid into their water on a daily basis. When the piglets of these test sows were born, their weight was relatively normal and their first stool, while still bloody, was solid. All of the piglets survived and grew into normal, healthy pigs. With this test, Bob knew that all of his hard work and determination had produced a formula that could give the body the power it needs to improve its performance, fight off diseases and heal itself. The year was 1980.
Bob realized that this country would be reluctant to accept the Liquid Magnetic Complex due to the radical nature of the concept, combined with the socio-economic climate in 1980. Knowing this would make it nearly impossible to raise money to continue his research and raise a family, Bob made the difficult decision to put the commercial development of the Magnetic Liquid Complex aside for nearly 20 years. During this time, however, he continued to develop the formula, adding several more essential oils at varying concentrations.
In 1999, Bob walked into the local Walgreen's and discovered "Healing Magnets" displayed on a shelf next to vitamins and other supplements. He new then, that people were ready to entertain the idea of a Liquid Magnetic Supplement. He filed for his patent and began the tedious approval process necessary for new products to be marketed as supplements, including a toxicology study performed by Denver's University Hospital. After a long and expensive battery of experiments, it was determined that a person could possibly consume a quart of the liquid daily and not suffer any negative effects.
Bob then began producing the Liquid Magnetic Complex in his home and selling it, mostly by word of mouth. In February of 2003 he had raised enough money to have the formula prepared in an FDA-approved lab in Iowa. By April he had attracted several marketing professionals who have helped him spread knowledge of the product, resulting in improved health for all who have tried the Magnetic Liquid Complex and all the other magnetic health products that MagnetiCare produces and distributes.
