As far back as I can remember I have been a stutterer. As far as fluency goes…I’ve had good days and bad days, good months and bad months, even good years and bad years. But even in my most fluent periods, I still stuttered whenever I tried to tell a joke, give my opinion and when I found myself in a stressful situation. I am 39 years old and have been through more speech therapists over the last thirty years than I can remember.
